COVID Time period

Dear all,
My FSC exams ( Preboards ) were going on when the carona virus started in China. In the beginning no-one took serious. But as the time passes, when people started dying in China, then we realize that it’s something really serious. My three papers were done and three were left. As situation was continuously becoming worse day by day so our higher authorities decided to postpone those three papers. Then later on the condition became more serious and virus entered in Pakistan. First case of covid was reported in Karachi on 26 Febuary,2020. We all were scared. Then Government announced strict lockdown through out the country. Day by day unfortunately, condition was becoming severe and virus spread through out the country. Taking into account the situation our final exams of FSC were cancelled and we were promoted on the previous marks obtained. Then after that I was free and also restricted to stay at home. Although I was free but cannot go out due to lockdown. I have to wear mask sanitize again and again, cannot go outside and staying at home for a long time gives me mental depression and stress. Daily when I hear that people are dying rapidly due to COVID and many people are going away from their loved ones, this gives me more stress and tension. I nearly became depression patient due to all of this. Then this all continued for a long time. Then admissions in universities were opened. I applied in many universities and finally I got admission in Institute of Space Technology (IST). I was very happy that now finally I became university student. But the condition was not improving in the country and by compulsion our university decided to start first semester online. This was my first experience which was worst because of lack of communication, lack of interaction with class fellows and instructors. I even did not see my university and never met my class fellows, it was very worse experience to study first time first semester online as in the starting I don’t have advanced gadgets also communication issue due to network problem, whole first semester ended in great confusion and hustle and bustle. I was unable to learn much unfortunately. But now with the passage of time I am little bit used to with this online system. But I cannot neglect that all this situation has made me mature. Not only education was greatly affected by the pandemic but also other sectors of the country as our economy is badly affected, poor people were in great trouble because of lockdown, shopkeepers were in problem because no-one go out of home etc. This virus is unpredictable and no-one knows what will happen in future but we should pray for the peace and prosperity of our country and hope that this virus will end completely soon. INSHAALLAH and everything will become normal.
“Its all about finding calm in the chaos.”
Sincerely,
Sadaf
