Pandemic periods have always been the most difficult times even in the past. They always affect people financially, physically, emotionally and mentally. There always come a pandemic situation once in a century. The results of that pandemic affect the up coming many years and it take a lot of time for countries to develop and prosper again. Spanish flue, black death, influenza, AIDS etc. are some of the pandemics which created a lot of trouble and destruction worldwide. Now-a-days, we are coping with “Covid-19” pandemic. It has been affecting people since 2019. The first case with covid-19 emerged from China and then took hold all over the world in a blink of sight.People started dying in front of their near and dear ones but everyone was helpless as they were not aware of its medication, treatment or even the symptoms related to this. Today , even we have discovered the vaccine of covid, yet we are not able to overcome this situation. We observe a heart-breaking decrease in the world population as people are not strong enough financially and physically to tackle with the situation.
Since some precautionary measures have been introduced by the World Health Organization to deal with this over-whelming situation which include Wearing of masks, keeping distance , use of sanitizer and avoiding physical contact, but few people are still not acting upon those SOP’s specially in countries like Pakistan, India , Africa etc. As a result, they are losing their loved ones.
We have also been acting upon these SOP,s as our educational institutions are closed ,public transports & visiting areas are restricted for public to keep people away from physical contact. We have been living in lock-down situation for a long time and we are shifted to online system of education which unfortunately affected our learning skills and we are no more interested in our education. In lock-down, every thing is closed and there is no work for people and it especially for the middle and lower class community. We are suffering from financial crisis and mental depression. People are striving for food and even for the medical opportunities as they bare unable to find place in hospitals for the patients. There is no other way for them rather to loose their own parents and children in front of their eyes. We are going through shortage of oxygen and in my point of view this is the result of our own deeds as we have cut trees and enhanced deforestation on our own will. Oxygen is un-available for the patients and lack of ventilators is resulting a large number of deaths.
Loss has been occurred in every aspect of life. Overall, financial system of world has been disrupted as well as the educational career of students is no more so efficient . education department must revive it self as it is the concern of student’s future. Students should engage themselves in their curricular activities so that it may not become a burden for them to come back to studies and exams. In these circumstances it is very necessary to take care of ourselves and our near ones because there is nothing more precious than one’s life. All what we need is to keep our faith strong and to stay tuned to the precautions provided for our benefit.
