My Pandemic experience

Post by minamkhaan »

As the lockdown started the shutdown affected me as I was a person who was socially active. Being isolated in my home not for just 2 or 3 weeks but for a year almost and not being able to go to places or meet with friends and online studying system created a sort of frustration and depression in me. I started to feel aggressive, frustrated and that positive energy which I once had slowly started to fade away. My screen timing on laptop was increased because of online classes and video games, which led me to a weak eyesight as I would spend my days and nights only on laptop.
My family took the notice of the behavioral changes in me. They told me to take this matter into notice. I started with setting my schedule, prioritizing my time correctly. I started taking online short courses in graphic designing, by taking the care of the sops I started doing walk in the morning with friends regularly which helped in refreshing my mind and being socially active. These habits played a huge part in cleansing my mind and personality.
After experiencing all this, I have learned that I, myself alone can overcome any kind of issues in my life, I am enough for my problems and I can control my emotions as well. Having a hold on my emotions really helped me in putting my mind into peace during this time. I also got a hold on to the mode of education system. We just need patience during odd times and everything gets back on the track.
I would like to pen down an incident here which happened during this period of time. One of my close friend seemed quite dull when I met him last month and he was not even talking to me the way he used to and was being a bit rude. First I thought that I should never talk to him again but then I tried to put myself in his situation and thought that maybe this change in his behavior is due to this pandemic and lockdown as it had a great impact on my mental health too. So I tried to console him and ask if I can help him. After talking, I realized that he was going through some really hard times like myself. So I understood his state and supported him with that I learned to understand others and be compromising.
I fear if this pandemic and online mode of studying continue further in future because it will eventually have bad impact on our mental health and skills which we can learn through face to face studying mode.
In my opinion, paper currency is being replaced by digital currency also known as bitcoin worldwide. The bitcoin which had worth of almost 100 USD in 2015 is now worth more than 50000 USD. So if we want to boost the economy of our country post pandemic, then we should educate our youth about cryptocurrency.
