How COVID-19 affected life.

Post by Bassam Qureshi »

At first the corona virus didn't really catch my attention. As 19 year old who lived his life studying and playing video games but, I felt terrible about the lives that were being lost and the challenges people were having to live through but I wasn't concerned about my safety. But not too much time passed until the first cases were announced in capital and whole city went under lockdown at first I thought it will be only for some days but to my surprise situation is still the same to this day.
This lockdown has changed my life in various ways, it was really hard in start especially the "online classes" as it's hard to pay attention in online classes while staying at home due to cozy environment. And getting along with family as I'm someone who spends most of his time staying home so, it felt a little bit weird and out of place.
But as the time proceeded it started to feel normal and now it just feels like every other day.
I do feel like I have grown as an individual as I had hard time getting along with even my own family before but now I can do that pretty nicely also it's fun too, so I am glad for that.
And I also got a lot of time off the busy schedule of life and time to reflect on myself. Which helped my understand different aspects of myself. Alongside that I got plenty of time to do the things I always wanted to do. Like improving my gaming skills, join tournaments, learning how to play piano, and starting my own free lancing team.
Although it is still work in progress but I'm glad I got time to start all this it will be really helpful for me in longer run.
I also got to read some awesome books which further helped me increase my knowledge about various things.
There were not any big events. But it sure was stressing lockdown and everything world's economy going down rumors about various things popping up which further increased pressure but I got through those somehow.
I can say for sure that I'm a lot different compared to what I used to be before, so I'm really glad for that.
For post-pandemic life I have a lot of hopes and expectations main one will be getting back to my normal life and start studying again I feel like I have been left behind so I really want to catch back up.
And for post-pandemic life we need to be careful especially in starting days beacuse Covid-19 will stay for a lot more time so in order to keep ourselves safe we need to stay cautious.
