Life in Pandemic

COVID had been one bumpy train for everyone trying to make something out of 2020 and 2021. It has been a steep trail downhill by the way there were still a lot of days that were better than most of the rest.
To pop it all of with a cherry on top, a full-scale lockdown was implemented which ceased any hustle bustle that was on the streets of my hometown. No cars, not even a kid on a bicycle. It was as if it were the middle of a Mexican Ranch at noon.
I have had to deal with the stress and the fear of being infected whenever I had to run an errand out of the house. It was as if the air itself was toxic. I could not leave the house without covering my head, my hands and not no mention wear a face mask and come back and shower after every outside errand.
Overcoming such heavy doses of stress can be a handful to deal with. I overcame these certain scenarios by keeping my wits about me, staying strong (in terms of will), and observing every preventive measure to be observed to stay safe.
Throughout my rough patch of 2020 and 2021 throughout the pandemic, I have dealt with countless challenges. Each being harder and more challenging than its predecessor. But in the end, I have grown to appreciate what I have, and the top-most on my list of things to be thankful about is good and sound health. I have also learned to be more responsible because most of the time, I have had to deal with a lot of stiff on my own. Like organizing my day, managing hours, and making sure I meticulously keep myself motivated throughout the day.
During the time of the full-scale lockdown, I have witnessed a lot of things that were out of the ordinary. One of which was my experience of seeing people helping others. It might seem common when you think of it, but during those hard days when you could not even leave without having a terrifying fear blurring your mind that you might get infected, people were out helping people and by far that feeling of experiencing it up-close is something that words fail to describe.
I hope that the future is to bring brighter horizons with a silver lining of hope that this pandemic will blow over. But I also fear that the rate at which it is progressing, I feel as if there might be another line of challenges we have yet to cross. But I still hope and pray for the better part to come forth rather than the opposing one.
Our economy & educational system have been exposed of their flaws and how they were when the pandemic hit at its peak. But now that the flaws are exposed, it would be better to digitize every economical and educational resource so that in times of crisis, we would have a counter measure to look up to rather than rummage through the scattered list of plans spread out across the table.
